Founder & Director of Navigation

Chad is the founder of WealthKeel. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and holds the Series 7 & 66 registrations. Chad also has his Life, Accident, and Health Licenses.

Chad knew this was his calling when he built his first investment portfolio at 14 years old by asking his Mom to open a minor’s account for him. He was investing money from the neighborhood businesses that he had started. Chad obtained his Life, Accident, and Health Licenses at 19 and worked as an independent insurance broker while he was a student at Penn State. Chad obtained his degree in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University and graduated with High Distinctions. As a summer associate, he worked with Merrill Lynch and the Synder/Balducci Group, one of the most successful Wealth Management teams on Wall Street, managing over 2 billion dollars in assets. After graduation, Chad worked with another successful advisor who mentored him at PFG Wealth Advisors. Chad was a Para-Planner at PFG Wealth Advisors and worked his way up to a Junior Partner. He was responsible for building extensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients. 

Outside of the office, Chad is an avid sports fan. His favorite teams are the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, Indianapolis Colts & LA Lakers. He is a fitness practitioner and foodie, but still gives the cooking edge to his wife, Mari. Chad and Mari have one “furry” son, Bruin.

Mari Chubb

Director of Client Experience

Mari is the Director of Client Experience at WealthKeel. She holds the Series 6 & 63 registrations and her Life, Accident, and Health Licenses.

Mari was bred for the financial industry. Her father is a successful advisor with Prudential, ranking as a top advisor in the country every year. Mari always knew this was what she wanted to do. She obtained her degree in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University. She started working with her father at Prudential right after graduation. Chad had to work hard to convince her to leave Prudential and join WealthKeel. He had to work even harder to get her to marry him.

First and foremost, Mari is an animal lover. She loves her “furry” son, Bruin, and hopes to add more “furry” and "non-furry" children in the future. Mari is also a fitness guru and world class chef with a focus on Paleo cuisine.

Kim serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Vicus Capital. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of the firm's compliance and legal departments. Kim is responsible for promoting and ensuring compliance with all federal and state financial laws and regulations. Additionally, she maintains oversight of all policies and procedures of the firm. The scope of her work extends beyond the firm, having served on the advisory board of Walnut Street Securities on behalf of financial advisors.

Kim began her career as managing attorney for AHC, Inc. in Manassas, VA. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctor from the Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an attorney at law. Kim holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 53 and 66 registrations.

Portfolio Manager

David serves as a Portfolio Manager within Vicus Capital’s IMR Department. He plays a key role in the management of the firm’s custom portfolios platform, Private Client StrategiesTM (PCSTM). Within the PCSTM platform, David leads the team in constructing custom client portfolios, creating proposals, and managing client portfolios. Given the structure enhancements and additional team members dedicated to the PCSTM platform, David will be available to work more closely with advisors on large cases for high net worth clients. He will also be instrumental in implementing strategic asset allocation direction and more dynamic investment strategies within PCSTM.

Additionally, David contributes to the firm’s investment research and ongoing due diligence of investment managers and serves as a member of Vicus Capital’s Investment Committee. He also provides support in the management of the firm’s other investment platforms. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management as well as a Master of Investment Management degree from Temple University. He holds a Series 65 registration.

Rob serves as an Investment Management Operations Analyst within Vicus Capital’s IMR Department. He is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the IMR team, including technology systems, vendor relations, as well as processes and procedures. Rob also serves as the primary trader for the firm’s tactical and hybrid platforms. He is a key contributor to ongoing investment due diligence and research and serves as a member of Vicus Capital’s Investment Committee. Additionally, Rob oversees the case design and proposal generation process for qualified retirement plans. He graduated Cum Laude from Central Michigan University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Personal Financial Planning with a minor in Accounting. Rob holds Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Jennifer serves as the Advisory Client Services Associate for Vicus Capital. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for all Fidelity new business operations. She facilitates all account openings, transfer of assets and cashiering for Fidelity accounts while working closely with the Vicus Capital Principals for suitability reviews. Jennifer also monitors accurate/timely set up in Fidelity Wealth Central.

Jennifer graduated from The Pennsylvania State University DuBois campus in 2006, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Minors in Marketing & Management. Jennifer’s background consists of sales & customer service roles from Fortune 500 companies.

Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Jacqueline oversees all operational processes for the firm, including Advisory Operations, Broker Dealer Operations, Compensation, and Client Services. Prior to joining Vicus Capital, Jacqueline worked as an Associate Project Manager at JPMorgan’s Operational Headquarters in Newark, DE, where she orchestrated complex projects related to improving business efficiency and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. She also served as Operations Manager for the Equity Guidelines Team, streamlining operational processes and collaborating with senior portfolio managers to interpret and enforce mandates for institutional clients.

Jacqueline’s positive contributions to the financial services industry include proactively addressing the impact of an SEC mandate for T+2 settlement in Q3 2017, facilitating system migrations to restructure operational workflows, and onboarding automated solutions to better serve business needs.

Mike Corcoran

Case Manager, Risk Management Division

Mike serves as the Case Manager for PFG’s Risk Management Division. In this capacity, he is directly responsible for providing life, long term care, and disability insurance support to PFG associates. He helps provide information and resources to PFG advisors to ensure that they receive the best quality products and insurance options for their clients. He acts as a liaison to our suite of insurance providers while providing invaluable sales support. Mike is accountable for case management and review of all insurance products utilized through PFG.

Mike is a native of Mount Joy, PA and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Management from The Pennsylvania State University.  He is extremely active in his community, supporting Centre County PAWS, the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON), YMCA of Centre County, Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, and the Alzheimer’s Association.  He lives with his wife and daughter in State College, PA and enjoys spending time with them, playing golf, fishing, reading, and Pittsburgh Steelers football.

Since 1996, Ron Lutz has acted as Director of Technology for PFG. He is instrumental in all phases of planning, administering and maintaining PFG's Information and Telecommunications systems. He provides common-sense solutions to associate IT issues, and acts as advocate when dealing with the broker dealer and outside vendors. His technical expertise aids PFG associates in navigating the technological complexities of today's challenging business environment.
