Chad is a Certified Financial Planner™ and the founder of WealthKeel. He holds the Series 7 & 66 registrations and maintains Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses.
Chad knew providing others with comprehensive financial guidance was his calling when he built his first investment portfolio at 14 years old. He asked his mom to open an investment account for him and he contributed money from the neighborhood businesses he started. At 19, Chad obtained his Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses and started his professional career as an independent insurance agent while a student at Penn State.
Chad went on to earn his degree in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University and graduated with High Distinctions. As a summer associate, he worked with Merrill Lynch and the Snyder/Balducci Group, one of the most successful Wealth Management teams on Wall Street, managing over 2 billion dollars in assets. After graduation, Chad worked with another successful advisor who mentored him at PFG Wealth Advisors. He was responsible for building extensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients.
Today, Chad enjoys working with busy professionals to create financial plans that make their complex lives a little simpler, so they can focus on what matters while growing their wealth over time. Outside of the office, Chad is an avid sports fan and roots for the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, Indianapolis Colts, and Philadelphia 76ers. When Chad is not chasing his son, Ryker, around, he is a fitness practitioner and foodie, but still gives the cooking edge to his wife, Mari.

Dave found a passion for personal finance during his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University. At that time, he started to see that aligning your financial resources with your values and goals can transform your life, but that most people’s money habits didn’t align at all with who they wanted to be. While he studied financial planning as part of his degree, he also volunteered as a financial wellness coach and chaired an advisory board committee crafting the financial wellness policy for his university's 44,000 undergraduate students.
After graduation, Dave pursued and passed the Certified Financial Planner™ exam while learning the interpersonal and technical craft of financial planning with a large firm in Columbus, OH. While practicing financial planning, he was also a vocal advocate within the financial services industry for a highly ethical and thorough approach centered around expertise, deep listening and co-creating plans with clients.
After meeting Chad in 2017, Dave recognized WealthKeel was practicing those principals of superior financial planning, and he joined the team shortly thereafter. In competitive sailing, the Tactician works closely with the Navigator in designing the best tactics and strategy for success. In his new role as Lead Tactician, Dave is responsible for much of the internal analysis WealthKeel conducts for its clients and collaborates closely with Chad, our Director of Navigation, in designing plans and strategies that help clients reach their personal and financial goals.
In his spare time, Dave continues to volunteer in the financial planning profession and enjoys exploring the western US on driving and hiking trips with his fiancé Jess.
Mari is the Director of Client Experience at WealthKeel. She holds the Series 6 & 63 registrations and her Life, Accident, and Health Licenses.Mari comes from a long line of financial professionals and is proud to continue the family tradition of serving clients in the financial industry. Her father worked as a successful financial advisor with Prudential for 39 years and consistently ranked among the top advisors in the country.
She obtained her degree in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University and started working with her father at Prudential right after graduation. Chad had to work hard to convince her to leave Prudential and join WealthKeel. He had to work even harder to get her to marry him.
When she’s not working hard to provide WealthKeel clients with the best experiences in designing their custom crafted financial plans, Mari enjoys spending time with her son, Ryker and four-legged kiddo, Bruin. She’s an animal lover and hopes to add more kids -- both two- and four-legged -- into the family in the future. She’s also a fitness guru who loves to do cross-training inspired workouts and a world-class chef with a focus on Paleo cuisine.
