More than just investment advice

Financial planning should take all aspects of your financial life into account — from budgeting, and cash flow, to savings, debt management, estate planning as well as risk management and tax planning. Investing is just one piece of the puzzle.

When a patient comes to you, do you read from your medical textbook to “help” them? No, and neither should your financial advisor. You deserve financial advice that’s succinct, actionable, and easy to understand. Our goal is to help empower you to make exceptional financial decisions.

No pricing model is perfect, but we believe a flat-fee model is the is not only fairest for you, it makes the most sense for all parties. Bottom line: no hidden fees here! Our flat-fee model makes understanding what you pay (and why) easy.

Our founder decided to work with physicians after a move to Philadelphia surrounded him with young physicians facing some of the most complex and important financial decisions of their lives… and with no one to rely on. WealthKeel chooses to work with Gen X & Gen Y physicians due to the unique complexities that this group faces.

We are passionate about serving Gen X & Gen Y physicians. Why? We firmly believe this group of hard-working professionals has been dealt a difficult hand and faces a lot of critical financial decisions.

I started to develop the foundation of WealthKeel right out of college. At that time, I was just Chad Chubb, your average financial advisor, but I noticed there was a huge demand and need for a flat-fee model for the physician community. Then, in 2015, I officially launched WealthKeel —a team of award-winning CFP® Professionals who specialize in helping Gen X & Gen Y physicians.

We help our physicians reduce taxes, invest smarter, and plan for their ideal future.

Since starting WealthKeel, I’ve been recognized as “Top 40 Under 40 advisor in the US” (2020) by Investment News, “Top 10 Young Advisors to Watch in the Country” by Financial Advisor Magazine (2021), “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisor in 2021 & 2022” by Investopedia and a “Top 10 Financial Advisor” by The White Coat Investor and Physician on FIRE for multiple years in a row.

I am also a columnist for Kiplinger, host a YouTube channel which provides financial planning tips and strategies for physicians, and frequently speak at hospitals and medical organizations across the country for different financial topics.

When I am not crafting a financial plan, you can find me with my wife (my high school sweetheart) taking our three wild and loving boys on their next travel adventure or foodie stop. Otherwise, I’m up and at ' em early for a good workout/run or trying to sneak in a quick golf round.

ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL PLANNER

Zack is an associate advisor at WealthKeel. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) and Certified Student Loan Professional (CSLP). He’s passionate about developing financial tactics to help WealthKeel clients reach their goals efficiently while also maximizing the impact of their wealth.

When he’s not building beautiful financial plans, Zack enjoys playing pick-up basketball games and spending time with his family and friends in Northeast Ohio. Zack is a huge Cleveland sports fan. For better or worse, he fully embraces the “this year is our year,” mantra every September when it comes to the Browns...and that optimism typically turns into “there’s always next year,” by the time October rolls around.

Billy is the lead paraplanner at WealthKeel and currently pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ marks. He’s committed to providing exceptional service and developing long-lasting relationships with our physicians and their families. Billy’s mission is to help WealthKeel clients understand their finances so they can better align their decisions with their goals.

When Billy is not crafting gorgeous financial plans, he enjoys exploring the Nashville food scene with his wife Ava and spending time outdoors with their dog Riley. Originally from Long Island, Billy has become a fair-weather sports fan since his teams tend to underperform. However, this provides ample time to allow Billy to do what he enjoys best, finding a great book to read and quality family time.

Liz is the Director of Client Services at WealthKeel. She has vast experience working in customer and client services. With a heart of service and a full understanding of the importance of planning, Liz strives to ensure that the service and paperwork side of our client's financial life is a stress-free experience.

Liz is a mother to two boys, ages 9 and 18. Her family has a 1-year-old french bulldog named Sir. Winkston who believes himself to be royalty. Some of the family hobbies are football, hiking in the beautiful north Georgia mountains, and enjoying the lake life. When she isn't tending to the fast-paced life of motherhood, she stays centered by practicing yoga, meditation, or curling up with a good book.

Month 1

Or what we like to call the “soft” side of money conversation. We will have a chat about your goals and values; from the usual “retire at 65,” to the “financial independence at 45,” and to the “I need to cut back to .6 FTE with family planning.” We will review the different routes your journey may take you. Don’t worry, we will update it for all of life’s course corrections as well 😉
